... & the Blogosphere Count Wins...

... my trust! The official government figures hovered from 1,000 to 10,000 protesters as given by the official news agency Bernama and published by the local press & the local populace is expected to foolishly swallow it, hook, line and slinker...but sorry, I don't buy it. I've observed a number of overseas rallies and this Bersih one, based on the abundantly available videos and pictures would easily be over the 40,000 figure.

Here's a Malaysiakini pic which I'm borrowing without permission (Of course)!

How *&^%$#@#$%^&****astonishing it is to see this massive crowd considering the many threats of crackdowns against them by the authorities. In fact, there were reports of extensive road blocks and vehicle and passenger inspections!

Personally, I was expecting to see not more than 500 marchers after reading about the massive security clampdown.

I guess the saying that "where there's a will, there's a way" rings shockingly incredibly true!

Boss: Zorba the Greek, what do you say?
Zorba: Let people be, boss; don't open their eyes. And supposing they did, what'd they see?
Their
misery! Leave their eyes closed, boss, and let them go dreaming!
