A Tribute to Past Courage

Seen here on the left are the British SAS specialists unloading supplies in an undisclosed area
of the Borneo jungle during the undeclared war called
Konfrontasi with powerful well-trained disciplined troops from Indonesia who managed to infiltrate Sarawak in the 1960s.

Some SAS soldiers never made it back to their homeland alive in the brutal war which according to some books was an unofficially declared war for insurance reasons as the insurer's assessment cost would be heavy for Great Britain.

Undoubtedly without the aid of the SAS, Malaysian history would be different today.

Below the chopper pic is another pic of some of the specialists having a discussion at an undisclosed Dayak location.
