We are on the threshold of the next great thing-a robot that is more human! It's a baby with the intelligence level around 1 to 2 years old. Nevertheless, you can see how human it behaves! What would be next? More emotions and brains?
What's the practical application for these huge 'Chuckys' aside from the apparently good AI they built in which has about an IQ of a child (with Down Syndrome) -_- .
I prefer something like Honda's Asimo, where the experience learnt from its research into AI computer recognition and robotic fluid movements can be applied for everyday machines.
