What a tragedy it was for lovers of fine music and the music world when Kyu Sakemoto was killed in a tragic air accident one day. The smiling highly popular singer had one of the best number one hits in the U.S. with his hit Sukiyaki.
It was a sad Japanese love song about being jilted by a girl and recalling the wonderful moments they had had shared together...
