This story appeared in The Borneo Post on March 20, 1977. It's in its original form, with a mysterious slash across it, typical of some of the early editions of the paper. We loyal readers simply gritted our teeth, put up with it and remained, perhaps rather foolishly, loyal to it. Maybe the wealthy company that owns the paper will one day reward loyal readers like us with something special-a get-together cocktail party, recognition plaques, free papers for a year, et cetera, et cetera, eh?
