Day 3 Meditation: compromise

Ideally, deforestation in Sarawak should end completely considering the extreme state of the fast depletion of natural resources globally and the consequences of human abuses.

As it is, the state has to have an income from the extraction of timber and the industry provides employment. It also enriches the pockets of those who are in the industry at the same time.

The reasonable expectation is that responsible and considerate logging activities are carried out. Illegal loggers are to face the music and ....
