Seconds to War
1. The Iranians appeared to be moving rather recklessly close to the US warships.
2. All it would take is a trigger-happy Iranian hot head to shoot at a US warship and the next dangerous upgrade in the phase of the current WW3 is on.
3. One can imagine the anxious warship crew who are experiencing the whole hair-raising, sweaty episode, probably on several occasions of a lesser provocative kind. If one of the crew members had lost his or her nerve, a single shot at the boats could very well trigger an emotional outburst of outrage by Iranian mobs and their sympathisers around the world!
4. It takes steadfast courage to be in a tense situation in a volatile part of the world where terrorism and lawlessness thrives. The American naval crew deserves praise for showing restraint at present. Would this last?

Congratulations, Iran!

Congratulations, Iran! You've crossed the Bush Administration's red line by technically mastering uranium enrichment, having achieved production up to the 3,000 centrifuge benchmark...The latest report comes from the chief inspector of the UN watchdog...
US Generals: "If the White House takes military action it will trigger a devastatingly Iranian
backlash in the Middle East and beyond."
Russia : "Iran will clinch a deal in the next few weeks as other parts of IAEA report shows
Tehran had been cooperating with the inspectors on other matters."
Iran : "Nay, we're not keen to produce a nuclear device at all... Bye, George. We crossed your red line ...Wars costing trillions of bucks is no laughing matter...The cowboy High Noon showdown is over... Come January 2009, retire in peace from the world stage ..."
Israel's Larry Derfner, Jerusalem Post:
"The most dangerous course of action would be to bomb Iran, but I realize very clearly that not bombing Iran isn't going to leave the world safe. The forces of militant Islam are the nemesis of our age, whether they get nuclear weapons one day or remain with the biological, chemical and conventional weapons they have today. It's going to take courage to overcome this enemy, but it's going to take wisdom, too."

Century X-67

In the year that Saturn and Mars are equally fiery, the air is very dry, a long meteor. From hidden fires a great place burns with heat, little rain, a hot wind, wars and raids. -Century X-67.

My Next Thesis?
Here's an eye-popping article which I found in cyberspace and wish to share here as it is what any prophet of doom will predict is the unfolding tragedy that will befall humankind.
It's about those suicidal bogey folks in the world's most dangerous outfit known as Al-Qaeda and their nuclear ambitions.
I've got to tell you this juicy secret: I have a pretty good thesis in mind about the terrorist nuclear threat. Well, what would you find in it? For a glimpse of it, I would like to quote a lot from that famous bard William Shakespeare with such memorable classic lines as "And all the world's a stage. They have their exits and their entrances: And one man in his time play many parts". Aye, this would be an academic intellectual discourse into modern day political reality laden with underlying implications which would reach the bold conclusion that it is a matter of not the possession method but the timing when the gloomiest prophecy of all time will be fulfilled.
The good news is, you won't read about this thesis, a gloomy script of doom that is fit for a Hollywood movie block-buster simply because this is a nation that has yet to open its mind to those who think out of the box. I might as well have a swell time at Malaysia's only gambling casino around in the Genting Highlands' resort.
Well, how about a book? It's too bloody expensive to publish it ourselves and who dares to publish an unknown writer's piece of fictitious work?
I did hear about certain publications offering payment for articles overseas but to be honest about it, there are too many scams out there! Besides, there's a lot of hue and cry and a siege mentality in many democracies in the West today because of Al-Qaeda. Touching on this sensitive topic in a non-academic environment would certainly ruffle many feathers, and the next thing we know is that we're on the special Guantanamo Camp list, if not that notorious terrorist's death list!
By the way, if you're a movie-buff like me and wish to see the words of the bard in technicolour action on your cinema screens, enjoy the old movie classic, Imperium: Augustus, starring Peter O'Toole as Augustus and Charlotte Rampling as his cunning wife. I saw it recently. In true Hollywood finesse, towards the end, Augustus lies on his deathbed; just before the ancient customary death mask is placed over his face, he calls for an applause from those who are gathered around him, poising the classic line, "Did I play my part well?". What A brilliant line in a movie for a great emperor and the late actor himself! Don't we play our roles in everyday life?
Here is the article that is most interesting:
Portents of A Nuclear Al-Qaeda
By David Ignatius
Thursday, October 18, 2007; A25
Rolf Mowatt-Larssen is paid to think about the unthinkable. As the Energy Department's director of intelligence, he's responsible for gathering information about the threat that a terrorist group will attack America with a nuclear weapon.
With his shock of white hair and piercing eyes, Mowatt-Larssen looks like a man who has seen a ghost. And when you listen to a version of the briefing he has been giving recently to President Bush and other top officials, you begin to understand why. He is convinced that al-Qaeda is trying to acquire a nuclear bomb that will leave the ultimate terrorist signature -- a mushroom cloud.
We've all had enough fear-mongering to last a lifetime. Indeed, we have become so frightened of terrorism since Sept. 11, 2001, that we have begun doing the terrorists' job for them by undermining the legal framework of our democracy. And truly, I wish I could dismiss Mowatt-Larssen's analysis as the work of an overwrought former CIA officer with too many years in the trenches.
But it's worth listening to his warnings -- not because they induce more numbing paralysis but because they might stir sensible people to take actions that could detect and stop an attack. That's why his boss, Energy Secretary Samuel Bodman, is encouraging him to speak out. Mowatt-Larssen doesn't want to anguish later that he didn't sound the alarm in time.
Mowatt-Larssen has been gathering this evidence since a few weeks after Sept. 11, when then-CIA Director George Tenet asked him to create a new branch on weapons of mass destruction in the agency's counterterrorism center. He helped Tenet prepare the chapter on al-Qaeda's nuclear efforts that appears in Tenet's memoir, " At the Center of the Storm." Now that the uproar over Tenet's mistaken "slam dunk" assessment of the Iraqi threat has died down, it's worth rereading this account. It provides a chilling, public record of al-Qaeda's nuclear ambitions.
Mowatt-Larssen argues that for nearly a decade before Sept. 11, al-Qaeda was seeking to acquire weapons of mass destruction. As early as 1993, Osama bin Laden offered $1.5 million to buy uranium for a nuclear device, according to testimony presented in federal court in February 2001. When the al-Qaeda leader was asked in 1998 if he had nuclear or chemical weapons, he responded: "Acquiring weapons for the defense of Muslims is a religious duty. If I have indeed acquired these weapons, then I thank God for enabling me to do so."
Even as al-Qaeda was preparing to fly its airplane bombs into buildings, the group was also trying to acquire nuclear and biological capabilities. In August 2001, bin Laden and his deputy, Ayman al-Zawahiri, met around a campfire with Pakistani scientists from a group called Umma Tameer-E-Nau to discuss how al-Qaeda could build a nuclear device. Al-Qaeda also had an aggressive anthrax program that was discovered in December 2001 after bin Laden was driven from his haven in Afghanistan.
Al-Qaeda proclaimed a religious rationale to justify the WMD attacks it was planning. In June 2002, a Kuwaiti-born cleric named Suleiman Abu Ghaith posted a statement on the Internet saying that "al-Qaeda has the right to kill 4 million Americans" in retaliation for U.S. attacks against Muslims. And in May 2003, at the same time Saudi operatives of al-Qaeda were trying to buy three Russian nuclear bombs, a cleric named Nasir al-Fahd issued a fatwa titled "A Treatise on the Legal Status of Using Weapons of Mass Destruction Against Infidels." Interrogations of al-Qaeda operatives confirmed that the planning was serious. Al-Qaeda didn't yet have the materials for a WMD attack, but it wanted them.
Most chilling of all was Zawahiri's decision in March 2003 to cancel a cyanide attack in the New York subway system. He told the plotters to stand down because "we have something better in mind." What did that mean? More than four years later, we still don't know.
After 2004, the WMD trail went cold, according to Mowatt-Larssen. Many intelligence analysts have concluded that al-Qaeda doesn't have nuclear capability today. Mowatt-Larssen argues that a more honest answer is: We don't know.
So what to do about this spectral danger? The first requirement, says Mowatt-Larssen, is to try to visualize it. What would it take for al-Qaeda to build a bomb? How would it assemble the pieces? How would the United States and its allies deploy their intelligence assets so that they could detect a plot before it was carried out? How would we reinvent intelligence itself to avert this ultimate catastrophe?
A terrorist nuclear attack, as Tenet wrote in his book, would change history. If we can see how this story might end, perhaps we can deflect the arrow before it hits its target.

Death Wish 5

It looks like we have a new sequel called "Death Wish 5" starring the Persians as the bad dudes with the death wish of course, in their self-suicidal confrontation with the free world. Their abominable evil deeds are aplenty: they have clandestinely aided those who sowed death and destruction in a free Afghanistan and Iraq. They have also been held accountable in an American court of law in the terrorist bombing of the legitimate UN-sanctioned peace-keeping American military base in Lebanon, resulting in numerous deaths.
If these Iranian fanatics are so bold as to set a deadline, does it mean they truly have a major surprise in store for everyone? What do they intend to do? Just a usual big rally with banners, hysterical screaming and shouting and the all too familiar flag-burning.... or will they perform an unlikely magical Houdini act (Perhaps, just perhaps, the evil diabolical hydra network has succeeded in smuggling the necessary nuclear components out of Pakistan or North Korea into their fanatic country) and unveil the mother of all bombs? Will the nation of Israel and its people which fears annihilation be expected to sit and wait ....
Well, my visiting blog buddies, the oil-rich Malaysian government has assured its citizens the price of petrol will not go up this year, even if the world market price shoots up to US100 a barrel.... I hope the promise will be kept.
Here is the latest news from Iran's official Iranian News Agency:
Zionist regime's allies to receive response on World Qods Day
Iran-US-Spokesman
Supporters of the Zionist regime will receive their response during the world Qods Day's rallies, government spokesman, Gholam-Hossein Elham, said Wednesday.
The spokesman made the remarks during his weekly press conference while commenting on the current visit to the occupied Palestine of the US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
Qods Day is held each year on the last Friday of Muslims fasting month of Ramadan after it was nominated by the late Founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini, as a day to voice the protest of the Islamic Ummah against the Zionists.
The day falls on October 12 this year.
"The US loses all opportunities to cooperate with regional and other world states by trying to support a regime (the Zionist regime) which is now at its weakest political and social position," Elham said.
He warned that Washington's insistence on its wrong policies and arrogant approaches would have no result "but further political disgrace" for itself.
Referring to the approaching World Qods Day, the spokesman stressed, "Supporters of the Zionist regime will definitely receive the final response for their support on that day."Wednesday, September 12, 2007

Is Teheran Smart?

The Jihadist scumbags never learnt from the first hard-hitting lesson that the U.S. taught in 2001 after the cowardly attack on their peaceful innocent civilians, killing thousands in a single day on September 11, 2001.
This time the U.S. will be smarter and not allow itself to be victimised first with the loss of heavy lives from suicidal Iranian fanatics in power, right from the very top so-called spiritual ayatollah down to his running dog, cunning highly intelligent engineering president and his subservient followers.
True, the U.S. unfortunately got itself into this ugly mess following receipt of faulty intelligence on nuclear weapons, when they got rid of one of the world's most evil dictator, Saddam Hussein. Unfortunately, with the iron-fisted ruler gone, Iraq has fallen apart. Then the Jihadist terrorists, al Quieda and other wanna-be jihadists united together to fight one hated foe through various means from suicide attacks to car and roadside bombings, aided in logistics-arms and mega bucks by oil-rich Jihadist Iran and other wanna-be Jihadist Islamic nations and individuals clandestinely in various devious ways.

Well, President Bush can be as good an actor as Reagan was. His critics scoff and laugh at the widely read and seen captured moments of his dumbness.
No one should be fooled. As someone who enjoyed acting myself in the past, I admire his skillful theatrical skills in expressions and actions which would fool many including Malaysia's national news agency, Bernama. The agency's recent pre-Malaysian Independence Day interview with Bush gave the impression to many Malaysians Bush has almost kosong (empty) knowledge about Malaysia and its Prime Minister.
Believe me, I think the guy is smart and of course he surely has the best intelligence available on everything and every political world leader in his hands. Man, I tell you, like Santa, an American president as the world's superpower leader would know who has been naughty, bad and who has been good!
So Iran has not only been naughty, it has been bad and still is bad! It craves for a new toy-the almighty nuclear bomb. Like bad old hard-line China, it aids terrorists against a foreign force and like the Nazis under Adolf Hitler, it seeks the destruction of the Jews, craves for dominion by military means of nearby territories (in the middle-east) and ultimately, the rest of the world. What a dream of Islamizing the whole world like in the ancient bloody days of using the Arab sword to covert others!
Well, the U.S. will be Hercules...mighty and strong in fighting and beating all forms of powerful monsters and armies...but the problem with al-quieda, the Taliban and a jihadist nation like Iran and other wanna-be deceptive jihadist nations is that it is like the ancient hydra, a mythical water snake that will keep growing heads after each one has been cut off and survive ... So the U.S. and the free world has to solve the persistant problem which is definitely and fortunately solvable as Hercules did ingeniously with his fire...Best of luck, Land of the Brave!

It's No Joke, Iran!!!
It is standard textbook strategy to use proxies in winning wars. This is studied by those keen in military history, including yours truly.
Of course, the belligerent states utilizing such a clandestine method do so through cleverly disguised, sometimes orthodox ways such as providing logistics support and intelligence, infiltrating intelligence or fighting agents who blend into the proxy's military force; often times in unorthodox ways such as pleasant diplomats who represent its guilty country to bluff the enemy that it is an ally against another supposedly common foe and in this case, Al-Qaeda .
Obviously, having the mother of all bombs is even better and serves as a great bargaining tool... The dwarf would now be a towering giant and yes, sooner or later, it will be tempted to use it to do what it has been saying all along: annihilate a certain race in the Middle-east. Their misinterpretation of the militant version of the holy book says so.
Having the bomb or having caused the next holocaust, this giant would then be the new power to be reckoned with in the Middle-east. Behold, the new jihadist, Saladin! Behold, the new jihadist Reich! From Iran to the East, West and up North!
Well, the reality is that these mad folks have gone too far and it would be too late if they do not stop their saber-rattling (not keris-rattling, yet) ways at once ...
Here's an article in the London Times that will serve as a strong warning to Iran that the free world's patience is wearing thin... But then, maybe Debat's belief the Pentagon may not carry out this powerful option would be a comforting thought for the troublesome Iranians perhaps...
Pentagon ‘three-day blitz’ plan for Iran
THE Pentagon has drawn up plans for massive airstrikes against 1,200 targets in Iran, designed to annihilate the Iranians’ military capability in three days, according to a national security expert.
Alexis Debat, director of terrorism and national security at the Nixon Center, said last week that US military planners were not preparing for “pinprick strikes” against Iran’s nuclear facilities. “They’re about taking out the entire Iranian military,” he said.
Debat was speaking at a meeting organised by The National Interest, a conservative foreign policy journal. He told The Sunday Times that the US military had concluded: “Whether you go for pinprick strikes or all-out military action, the reaction from the Iranians will be the same.” It was, he added, a “very legitimate strategic calculus”.
President George Bush intensified the rhetoric against Iran last week, accusing Tehran of putting the Middle East “under the shadow of a nuclear holocaust”. He warned that the US and its allies would confront Iran “before it is too late”.
Related Links
One Washington source said the “temperature was rising” inside the administration. Bush was “sending a message to a number of audiences”, he said to the Iranians and to members of the United Nations security council who are trying to weaken a tough third resolution on sanctions against Iran for flouting a UN ban on uranium enrichment.
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) last week reported “significant” cooperation with Iran over its nuclear programme and said that uranium enrichment had slowed. Tehran has promised to answer most questions from the agency by November, but Washington fears it is stalling to prevent further sanctions. Iran continues to maintain it is merely developing civilian nuclear power.
Bush is committed for now to the diplomatic route but thinks Iran is moving towards acquiring a nuclear weapon. According to one well placed source, Washington believes it would be prudent to use rapid, overwhelming force, should military action become necessary.
Israel, which has warned it will not allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons, has made its own preparations for airstrikes and is said to be ready to attack if the Americans back down.
Alireza Jafarzadeh, a spokesman for the National Council of Resistance of Iran, which uncovered the existence of Iran’s uranium enrichment plant at Natanz, said the IAEA was being strung along. “A number of nuclear sites have not even been visited by the IAEA,” he said. “They’re giving a clean bill of health to a regime that is known to have practised deception.”
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the Iranian president, irritated the Bush administration last week by vowing to fill a “power vacuum” in Iraq. But Washington believes Iran is already fighting a proxy war with the Americans in Iraq.
The Institute for the Study of War last week released a report by Kimberly Kagan that explicitly uses the term “proxy war” and claims that with the Sunni insurgency and Al-Qaeda in Iraq “increasingly under control”, Iranian intervention is the “next major problem the coalition must tackle”.
Bush noted that the number of attacks on US bases and troops by Iranian-supplied munitions had increased in recent months “despite pledges by Iran to help stabilise the security situation in Iraq”.
It explains, in part, his lack of faith in diplomacy with the Iranians. But Debat believes the Pentagon’s plans for military action involve the use of so much force that they are unlikely to be used and would seriously stretch resources in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Why I won't fly the Flag

Click the following pics and stories to enlarge them!
Here are a few of the many reasons...
16th September, 1963: Formation of Malaysia, with 20-point agreement. Yeah, that's right-44 years ago and not 50 years ago we became independent from Great Britain. Borneons aren't living up in trees to be able to calculate this fact. Good try for trying to pull a fast one on us, mates but it doesn't work! Can a 44-year old man celebrate a 50-year old birthday and declare "I'm now 50 years old!" ??? Everyone would laugh to death.
Democratically-elected politician and first Sarawak Chief Minister, a non-Muslim Iban, Stephen Kalong Ningkan, is removed as Chief Minister by an act of parliament in Kuala Lumpur.
One big full ayam brand bowl of kong lau mien (dry mee with meat) with lots of meat costs only 10 sen (US 1 cent) in Sarawak.
13 th May, 1969: Racial Riots in Kuala Lumpur. Elections are suspended throughout Malaysia, including in the peaceful East Malaysian states.
Beloved Sabahan Chief Minister Donald Stephens, an Eurasian and one of co-signatories to the agreement to form Malaysia, is killed in a mysterious plane crash in Sabah, together with several prominent well-loved elected officials.
It's bloody difficult to go on to a government university due to the New Economic Policy which has a quota system in place...
5% each oil rights compensation payment are thereby given back to Sarawak and Sabah on an annual basis in lieu of oil profits from both oil-rich states, contrary to the 20-point agreement made on state rights over control of natural resources.
April 1985: Joseph Pairin Kitingan, a Christian wins the Sabah state elections, toppling the traditionally Muslim-based power structure.

March 1986: Sabahan Muslim riots with state mosques used as gathering places to incite the Muslims. Look closely at this illegal procession and the participants...and they say a picture says a thousand words...

P.M. Mahathir says Malaysia is an Islamic state.

The price of petrol shoots up again in this oil-rich nation, and ironically, oil-rich state, raised by the Federal authorities. Despite assurances from the authorities, subsequently everything else naturally cost more as expected. My fellow monkeys up in the tree even know that whenever petrol prices go up every monkey has to charge more to cover the raised prices.
At the end of the year, Petronas declares a pre-tax profit of expected gigantic proportions. The petrol prices never comes down.
The Federal Court denies Lina Joy her basic human right to freedom of religion in Malaysia when she chose to leave Islam and be an apostate. She is condemned with the court's decision to a Syariah Court where every Tom, Dick and Harry knows she will be placed in a communist-style Re-education Camp to force her to change her mind.
Deputy Prime Minister's declares unexpectedly that Malaysia is an Islamic state and to rub salt into the wound, declares as well that it is in fact, driven by Islamic fundamentals.

Chief Muslim Justice makes a sly hint of changing common laws to Islamic Syariah laws; later backed by Minister in the P.M's Religious Department (see accompanying insightful article by K-tomac)
Go to "chief justice adopting syariah laws"
Prime Minister makes an ambiguous statement that Malaysia is an Islamic state (or nation) in Bahasa Malaysia in parliament. Why must he be so ambiguous???
So the whole stinky stuff that's coming out from the often times fuzzy and sometimes arrogant powers-that-be will gradually but surely lead this once idealistic great nation to this unthinkable third world backward state as in the pic below:

Here's something to think about...
Since too many Islamic countries do not practise sufficient amounts of practical democracy they are doomed. Just to change their political systems they will most likely have to go through bloody and decades long struggles. There will be regime change in Saudi Arabia someday. It will most likely be bloody and destructive. .. We have seen this in Iran, Afghanistan and now Iraq...Now after 27 years of rule (under Islamic Syiah priests' rule) the Iranians are still unhappy. Their idea of ruling a country is that their priests are supreme... (Syed Akbar Ali. Malaysia and the Club of Doom. Kuala Lumpur: 2006. p. 184.).
Ah yes, one half bowl of ayam brand kong lau mien with a few miserable pieces of meat now costs RM3.50 to RM4.50 (in air-conditioned coffeehouses) in Sarawak... and it's still difficult to get into a government university with the NEP in a differnt name... though there are profit-making private colleges and universities which charge a lot to enroll in...

Wow, Iran's got a 'smart' bomb!

Iran develops 900-kg ‘smart bomb’ - official media
Guided bomb developed by specialists within Islamic Republic’s Defense Ministry and is now operational, IRNA news agency reports, adding it could be dropped from F-4 and F-5 jets Reuters Published: 08.22.07, 23:57 / Israel News
Iran has developed a 2,000-pound (900 kg) “smart bomb”, official media quoted a Defense Ministry statement as saying on Wednesday, in the latest announcement from Tehran about progress regarding military hardware.
Revolutionary Guards | ||||||
|
The guided bomb, named Qased (Messenger), was developed by specialists within the ministry and is now operational, IRNA news agency said, adding it could be dropped from F-4 and F-5 jets.
Iran still uses planes, such as the F-5, supplied by the United States to the government of the former shah of Iran, who was a close US ally. Mohammad Reza Shah was ousted in the 1979 Islamic revolution, after which Washington cut ties with Tehran.
The two countries are embroiled in a deepening standoff over Iran’s nuclear program, which the West suspects is aimed at making atom bombs, a charge Iran denies.
Iran often says it has built new arms or upgraded weapons but rarely gives enough details for analysts to determine their capabilities. Although much of Iran’s weaponry is outmoded, analysts say Iran has become proficient at modifying such arms.
Defense Minister Mostafa Mohammad Najjar said last year Iran had designed the Qased bomb but that it had yet to be tested. He said only a limited number of countries possessed the technology of “smart and guided weaponry”.
The United States says it would prefer a diplomatic solution to the nuclear row, but has not ruled out military action. Iran has threatened to hit back at US regional interests if attacked.
NEXT ANNOUNCEMENT: ATOMIC BOMB IS IN THEIR BLOODY GREASY HANDS???

Iranian Countdown

Is Iran so desperate to have this awesome power, the mathematical brainchild of one of the greatest Jewish scientist in the world, Alberta Einstein? Is it prepared to face death and destruction from sensible, mentally sane external forces as it continues on a path to ignominy, spewing outright lies of its intentions along the way???

Israeli Official War Drills

It was unusually officially announced last Thursday 21/6/07 that Israel would be carrying out exercises in preparation for action against militant Iran should the nuclear-coveting country persist in its dangerous militaristic direction.
Here, an awesome fast lightning-speed IAF 25 F-151 is seen high over the Jewish nation.
Here's my grim prediction: July, which is the cardinal number '7' is very meaningful: we have the 7 deadly sins of pride, covetousness, lust, anger, gluttony, envy and sloth; in the classical myth there were 7 heroes, Amphiaraus, Capaneus, Eteoclus, Hippomedon, Parthenopaeus, Polynices and Tydeus against Thebes to depose Eteocles in favour of the brother Polynices and last but not least, 7 is the complete number in the Bible... Another '7' figure will fulfill the equation for war and the beginning of the end... Alpha & Omega.

DAY 2: Home, Sweet Home...

"ALAMAK!!! Wait, fellow crew members! Is this really our beloved Mother Earth??? Why is there a ring around it, not unlike Jupiter???! A nuclear war has broken out??? Iran has lost its marbles??? Das ist eine Schweinerel!!! Bei der ist wohl eine Schraube los!!!"
"Captain, all bearings are accurate: we are on a direct course to planet Earth."
"Das ist unwahrscheinlich....Hmmmmmnnnn... What are we looking at?"
To be continued ...
